ABOUT THE WORK

These analog photographs are shot strictly on film, and developed in a traditional darkroom.  Printing is performed with brushes, without any digital retouching afterwards.

 

The documentary projects have been both inspired by a desire to document history, from volunteers fighting the Aids epidemic at its height in the early 1990's, as well as using the stark nature of black and white film photography to explore specific, simple emotional themes from fear to change.
